Employee Benefits Account Executive: Providence RI - $110K+
We currently are recruiting for an agency who has a need for an Employee Benefits Account Executive at their office in the Providence RI area. This agency is one of the top insurance brokerage agencies in the country with several offices throughout New England. This position would be responsible for supporting mid-market clients with most companies employing 100+ employees with sophisticated needs.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide an exceptional level of service and support to select group of customers
- Act as liaison between client’s Human Resource and management team and all insurers and other service vendors
- Interface with customers in resolution of claim disputes, billing and other contract issues to the total satisfaction of clients (and their employees)
- Possess high level of understanding of all health, dental and other benefit products, benefits, services and affiliated tools connected with group benefit plans
- Ability to review and revise contracts, documents and other deliverables connected with insurance products for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare marketing materials (RFPs) and subsequent proposals, and then implement changes or install new contracts for customers
- Collect, organize and analyze health, dental and other benefit plan claims and utilization data from insurers/vendors and deliver detailed reporting to customers, to include determination of trends and predictions of future renewals
- Organize and attend client meetings, prepare communications including Open Enrollment materials, presentations, and coordinate all insurer/ vendor needs
- Ensure that all renewals and products are finalized and fully installed, including employee enrollments, contracts, employee ID cards, and employer billing
- Maintain knowledge and deliver updates to customers involving all aspects of state and federal regulations governing employee welfare plans, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA and all employer responsibilities of the Internal Revenue Code
- Assist customers with all other aspects of compliance and reporting including development of Summary Plan Descriptions, 5500 reporting and ACA compliance
- Assist customers with any ad-hoc project, claim resolution or search for information to ensure employers can fully deliver a first-class benefit package to their employees
- Prepare executive reports to management and present to executives, board of directors, and union/ decision making committees as required to educate and approve decisions on benefit programs
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years of insurance industry experience (agency brokerage preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively draft, proof and complete professional documents and correspondence, using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and other contemporary business standards
- Understanding of Excel and other formula-based software.
- Familiarity and ability to learn how to utilize a Customer Service Management (CRM) system to maintain client/ benefit information and service tracking.
- Possess strong mathematical and analytical skills – with ability to analyze and interpret claim and other data, including complicated proposals and other spreadsheets
- Flexibility of adapting to fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Ability to work in both a team/collaborative setting, but also able to work without supervision when necessary
- Current MA Life & Health broker license a plus
- Expectation of possessing or pursuing CEBS designation

Employee Benefits Account Executive: Boston, MA
We currently are recruiting for an agency who has a need for an Employee Benefits Account Executive at their office in the Boston MA area. This agency is one of the top insurance brokerage agencies in the area with several offices throughout New England. This position would be responsible for supporting mid-market clients with most companies employing 100+ employees with sophisticated needs.
Candidate would be responsible for handling a block of mid-larger sized corporate clients for brokerage of medical, dental, life & disability, voluntary and TPA products & services (i.e. FSA, HSA and COBRA administration).Clients typically would be in 75 – 500 employee size range.
Duties, abilities and responsibilities include:
- Provide an exceptional level of service and support to our clients.
- Act as liaison between clients; Human Resource/Benefits and management team and all insurers and other service vendors
- Possess an advanced level of understanding of all group health, dental and other benefits, associated products, services and affiliated tools connected with benefit plans

Operations Manager: Needham/Wellesley, MA - To $175,000
We currently represent a large Property and Casualty Insurance Agency in the Needham/Wellesley MA area that has a need for an experience Agency Operations Manager. In this role you will be working directly with the senior management of this agency to build, manage, and develop the agency’s Commercial and Personal Lines departments.
Responsibilities
In this position you will be responsible for development and administration of all phases of Commercial Lines account management. You will be responsible for department administration, including budgeting and hiring of staff, completion of personnel evaluation reviews, training and overall monitoring of daily workflow. You will provide specific day-to-day direction and support to all department units.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for administration of Commercial, Personal, and Health benefits account service functions.
- Responsible for handling a select few High Value Commercial Lines accounts in addition to management responsibilities.
- Complete periodic performance evaluations of all department personnel, provide support, and create an atmosphere that encourages employee growth and positive development.
- Hire, train and maintain a proper and efficient processing and underwriting staff in coordination with management and personnel guidelines.
- Develop and periodically review job descriptions, account management procedures and department standards in coordination with management.
- Responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of quality control measures to minimize errors on policies, applications, billings and other department documentation.
- Conduct internal procedural and client audits.
- Responsible for maintenance of ongoing commercial lines data and reports.
Minimum Requirements
The following are required to enable the employee to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Skills/knowledge – Excellent communication and negotiating skills required. Superior business judgment and analytical and problem-solving ability needed. Strong organizational skills necessary.
- Experience/education –A minimum of ten years insurance experience, including account management and supervisory experience. Multi-state experience is helpful. College degree required. Additional courses desirable. Must have exposure to CPCU, CIC or AV designations.

We currently represent a mid-sized Property and Casualty Insurance agency in the Needham/Wellesley MA area that has an immediate need for an Personal Lines Customer Service Representative or Personal Lines Assistant.
In this position you will be responsible for the service of an existing book of Personal Lines accounts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of Two (2) years of Personal Lines agency insurance experience handling automobile policies

We are currently recruiting for a client who is in need of an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager in the Cambridge, MA area.
In this position you will be responsible for servicing personal lines accounts as assigned by management. This includes servicing and processing all new business, renewals, and endorsements, as well as inputting all information into the agency computer system.
Essential Job Functions
- Service all accounts (quote, new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations) as assigned by department management.
- Develop new business and renewal quotations and proposals for Client.
- Process and service specifically assigned new business and renewals within department and company underwriting guidelines. Processing and servicing include invoicing and assuring proper completion of original applications.
- Review and analyze all incoming applications and accompanying documentation; if further documentation is required work with Client and other company staff to assure timely completion.
- Keep renewal expiration list updated and processes all renewals on a timely basis.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Superior critical analysis required, including the ability to evaluate and determine account acceptability.
- Organizational skill and the ability to prioritize large volumes of work.
- Knowledge of computer and word-processing.
- Knowledge of Excel, AMS 360 and Sagitta a plus.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
- Three + years of experience with personal lines insurance in either an agency or insurance company.
- Must have the ability to analyze and understand personal insurance products.

In this position you will be responsible for the service of an existing book of client accounts.

You will become part of a very profitable, progressive agency that handles a large variety of Commercial Lines and Personal lines accounts throughout New England.
A minimum of three (3) years of personal lines experience with some exposure to handling automobile, Homeowners, Dwelling fire, and personal Umbrella risks, plus excellent verbal and written communication skills is required. A property and casualty license and any industry designations would be a plus.
This position offers a very comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
Personal Lines CSR: Wellesley, MA - $70,000-$75,000

Requirements:
- A minimum of Five (5) years of personal lines experience handling Automobile, Homeowners, Dwelling fire, and Personal Umbrella risks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience handling High Net Worth clients
- A Property and Casualty license and any industry designations would be a plus.
Our client offers a compensation and benefits package that is VERY comprehensive and including a base salary in the $70’s along with profit sharing, commissions and bonuses for the right candidate.
The total earning potential for this position could easily reach in the $80’s
